We are very excited to announce that the Lone Star Policy Institute is hosting an esteemed panel of experts to discuss Smart Cities and Liberty on November 2018 in Dallas. The panel will include:
- Michael Hendrix: director of state and local policy at Manhattan Institute
- Chelsea Collier: Founder of Digi.City, Editor-At-Large at Smart City Connect
- Trey Bowles: Chairman of the Board at The Dallas Entrepreneur Center
- Jonathan Coppage: Urban policy analyst and writer
This will be a discussion on how smart cities technology might improve city services by reducing costs, streamlining processes, and improving residents’ user experience. We will also weigh concerns about privacy, and whether better data can overcome the knowledge problem of governmental planning.
